Take-off program in Rectification mode

Samovar 7.00: the program calculation calculator now calculates equipment parameters and recommended speeds, with an "Apply recommendations" («Применить рекомендации») button; before installing the program, check the power units: volts or watts. A "Clear program" («Очистить программу») button has been added to the "Program" («Программа») tab. When the program is installed, it is checked: the first line must set an absolute voltage (power), and every take-off line must have a volume or a transition temperature set.

The "Program" («Программа») tab

After Samovar is switched on or rebooted, the "Program" («Программа») tab shows the last installed take-off program; Samovar keeps it in its memory. On a new device an example is loaded (three H-B-H lines of 450 ml each), which must be adjusted to your needs.
The main take-off program window contains the following items:

The "Program" («Программа») tab in Rectification mode
1

Type («Тип»)

The take-off mode for the line: Heads («Головы»), Hearts («Тело»), Pre-flooding («Предзахлеб»), Tails («Хвосты»), Pause («Пауза»).

2

Output («Выход»)

The take-off volume in milliliters. For a "Pause" line, the pause time in seconds.

3

Speed («Скорость»)

Take-off rate, liters per hour.

4

Container («Ёмкость»)

The number of the container to take off into (0-10). Position 0 is the home position.

5

Volt. («Напр.»)

Regulator voltage (for SEM_AVR, power in watts). 0 means do not change; a small or negative number is an offset from the current value.

6

Time («Время»)

The calculated execution time of the line.

7

Add / delete a line

The plus adds an empty line below; the minus deletes the current line.

8

Total («Итого»)

The total execution time of the program (without pauses).

9

Take-off program description («Описание программы отбора»)

A collapsible field for free text that is sent to the cloud when the take-off starts.

10

Take-off program («Программа отбора»)

A collapsible field with the program in text format. It is linked to the table.

11

Calculate program («Рассчитать программу»)

Go to the program calculation calculator.

12

Install program («Установить программу»)

Checks the program and writes it to Samovar's memory.

13

Clear program («Очистить программу»)

Deletes all program lines after confirmation.

Column descriptions
No. - Program line number. Lines are numbered automatically as you add or delete them. The number of the line being executed is shown in the status line on the main "Rectification" («Ректификация») tab.
Type («Тип») - A drop-down menu with the name of the take-off mode: Heads («Головы»), Hearts («Тело»), Pre-flooding («Предзахлеб»), Tails («Хвосты»), Pause («Пауза»), Lua. Depending on the choice, different logic is applied. The lines in the table are colored by type.
Output («Выход») - The value is set in milliliters: how much to take off before moving on to the next program line. For a "Pause" line this field sets the pause time in seconds; for a "Lua" line it sets the stage timeout in seconds.
Lua - a line controlled by a Lua script: choosing this type opens the "Lua stage" («Lua-этап») window, where you select a .lua file from Samovar's memory, the timeout in seconds and the script parameters. Speed, container and voltage are not set for such a line, and the first-line voltage requirement does not apply to it. More details: About the Lua scripting language.
Speed («Скорость») - Take-off rate of the peristaltic pump. The value is set in liters per hour.
Container («Ёмкость») - The number of the container to take the product off into. Numbering starts from zero (0-10). That is, the "home" position of the servo rocker arm is container No. 0.
Volt. («Напр.») - The voltage in volts that must be set on the voltage regulator. Zero means do not change the current value; a small or negative number is an offset from the current value (see Editing the take-off program).
Note. For the SEM_AVR regulator the value is set in watts, and the column is called "Power" («Мощн.»).
Time («Время») - The time it will take to execute a particular program line (volume divided by speed). (since version 5.25)

The table does not show one more line field, the transition temperature (the fifth value in the text format). It can be set only in the "Take-off program" («Программа отбора») text field; the value is preserved when you edit the table. If it is 0, it is not used. If a number from 0 to 20 is set, the line ends when the steam temperature exceeds the steam temperature at the moment the line started plus this number. If 20 or more is set, the line ends when the steam temperature exceeds this value. The move to the next line happens on whichever condition (volume or temperature) is met first.

Program
The program, in table form, that the take-off will follow.
The take-off program is executed line by line and ends after the last line has been executed. Lines can be added and deleted. Clicking the plus (+) at the end of a line adds the next empty line; clicking the minus (-) deletes the current line. Once the program has been installed, the action cannot be undone.
The required parameter is set at the intersection of a row and a column.
Each line describes what Samovar should do at a given moment. The run time of a line is determined either by the volume of liquid the pump must move at the set speed, or by the transition temperature, or by an explicitly set time (for a "Pause" line). The table is directly linked to the "Take-off program" text field.
The line being executed at the moment is highlighted in dark red italics, and lines already passed are in italics. While you are editing a table cell, updating the table with data from Samovar is postponed; the "Data updated" («Данные обновились») icon next to the heading tells you this.
Note.
The maximum number of program lines that Samovar accepts for execution is 20. A program with more lines will not be installed (the message "too many lines" («слишком много строк»)).

Total time
The "Total" («Итого») field is the execution time of the whole take-off program (not counting "Pause" lines).

Take-off program description
Free text (up to 250 characters). Any information about this take-off program.
The "Take-off program description" («Описание программы отбора») field
A collapsible text field. You can enter information related to a particular take-off program. The description is stored in Samovar together with the program by the "Install program" («Установить программу») command, and is sent to the cloud once when the session starts with the "Start take-off" («Начать отбор») command. Afterwards the text can be edited only in the cloud. More details: logs and charts in the cloud.

Take-off program
The program, in text format, that the take-off will follow.
The "Take-off program" («Программа отбора») field in text format
A collapsible text field. The take-off program is shown in text format: six values separated by semicolons: type; volume (ml); speed (l/h); container number; transition temperature; voltage (power). Below the field you will find an explanation of the values and an example program. The text can be copied and saved locally as an ordinary text file. It is directly linked to the table.
The data will be copied to the cloud once, on the "Start take-off" command. The text cannot be edited in the cloud.

Calculate program («Рассчитать программу»)
Opens a separate page with the program calculation calculator for the take-off, based on the volume of low wines and the percentage of each fraction. If the table has unsaved edits, Samovar asks you to confirm the move.

Install program
Copies the program to Samovar. When pressed, it checks the program and installs it in Samovar's memory for later execution. If the program fails the check (wrong line format, more than 20 lines, the first line does not set an absolute voltage, a take-off line has neither volume nor temperature set), it is not installed, and the reason is shown in a message with the line number.

Clear program
After confirmation, deletes all program lines from Samovar's memory.
