Logs and charts in the cloud

Viewing information in the cloud.

For Samovar to send the log to the cloud, get a device token and enter it in the "Blynk token" («Токен Blynk») field on the tab Settings → Other («Настройки → Прочие»). To view this log in your profile, add the device on the website www.samovar-tool.ru in the menu "User → Devices".
While the token is set and there is a connection to the server, when writing the local log Samovar sends data and messages to the cloud, where they can be viewed on the website www.samovar-tool.ru on the "Logs" page (samovar-tool.ru/logi/).
One website user can have several Samovars if the website administrator has raised the device limit (one by default, see Mobile apps and website). The "Logs" page shows the processes of the device selected in the menu "User → Devices". To open the archive of another Samovar, select it there first.
Samovar 7.00: there are no separate settings for sending the cloud log any more. While the token is set and there is an internet connection, log lines are sent automatically once every 4 seconds. If Samovar rebooted during a process and heating is switched on again within 30 minutes, recording continues in the same session.
On the chart, new pauses are shown as an interval with the reason, result and duration. If part of the data was not received or the device time was changed, a single mark may remain instead of an interval. In old logs such intervals do not appear after the website update.

The list of logs in the cloud looks as follows:

Details - the take-off program and additional information ("process memo")
Chart - a chart of the process will be built.

Save log - the log file will be downloaded to your computer. The file name is data.csv

Messages - all messages that appeared during this process.

Delete - delete this log. Cannot be undone.

Merge log - merge the log with the previous one. Cannot be undone.

Share log - allow everyone who has the link to this log to view it. Can be undone.

Logs and charts are available only to you, but you can share them with other participants.

To share a log:
Press "Share log". Answer yes to the question "Make the log available to everyone?".
The "Share log" label will change to "Make log private".
Open the log, for example on "Details", copy the link from the browser address bar and send it in any way to the person you want to share with.
Everyone who has the link will be able to view the chart and download the log file - data.csv

To forbid viewing: press "Make log private"; the label will change to "Share log". The log will no longer be available to others.

Chart

In addition to the local one, the following data are added to the chart in the cloud:
- Take-off rate
- Water flow
- Voltage/Power.

- ABV in the boiler
- ABV in the take-off (the data are relevant only for "Distillation" («Дистилляция») mode)

All conditions for starting the plot and controlling the view are the same as for the local one. The data are stored in the cloud, and the chart image is built by the browser on your computer.
The less data, the faster your internet connection and the more powerful your computer, the faster the chart is built.

Example chart:

Thanks to the additional data on the chart, the example shows how the voltage regulator worked in pre-flooding mode.

Messages

If you missed a message, you can see the history here. For example: why the heating "suddenly" switched off.

Example:
A fragment of the messages window: heads take-off and the column reaching the pre-flooding mode.

Questions and answers. FAQ

How long are logs kept in the cloud?
Logs shorter than 30 minutes are deleted one day after creation. The rest are kept indefinitely.

Does a brew in "Beer" («Пиво») mode appear in the website cabinet journal by itself?
Yes. A session started in "Beer" mode creates an entry in the journal of the "Brewer's cabinet" on the website automatically, from the same data that reach this page (mashing steps, boiling with the "Add the hops!" («Засыпьте хмель!») messages, cooling); the device sends nothing additional. More details are on the page Beer brewing journal on the website and in the apps.
