Pause

The "Pause" program

The Latin letter P stands for pause (Pause). This is what a take-off program line may look like:
P;120;0;0;0;172
It means: wait 120 seconds, set the voltage on the regulator to 172 volts:

When a line of type P runs, Samovar stops the take-off pump and waits for the time set in this line. The time is set in seconds in the second value of the line (in the table of the "Program" («Программа») tab it is the "Output" («Выход») column); it must be greater than zero. All other parameters are ignored (in particular, the vapor and column section temperatures), except the sixth parameter – the voltage. The voltage is applied by the same rules as in take-off lines: 0 — do not change, a small or negative number — an offset from the current value. The status on the main tab will show the pause and the remaining time.

Note:
The parameters that Samovar monitors for safety are not ignored in any operating mode.

You can use a pause, for example, if you need to raise (or lower) the regulator voltage by a large amount. Since the boiler and the column have quite a lot of inertia, this takes time. How long to wait you have to decide yourself, based on your experience.

Attention!
A special feature of this program line is that when it starts, Samovar resets in its memory the column section and vapor temperature values, if they were fixed earlier. If the next program line is Hearts or Pre-flooding and no voltage is set in it (0), then on moving to it the temperatures current at the moment of the transition are fixed. If the next line sets its own voltage, the temperatures are fixed later — when the vapor temperature settles at the new power (no longer than 10 minutes). That is, it is the same as if the operator wanted to set new values of the "Column section" («Царга») and "Vapor" («Пар») temperatures and physically pressed "Fix the hearts take-off T" («Зафиксировать Т отбора тела») in the "Regulator" («Регулятор») card on the main tab (see Hearts take-off).

Questions and answers. FAQ

The help says that a pause resets the column section and vapor temperature values. Do I have to set new values after every pause?
No. When the work on the "Pause" line of the take-off program is finished, Samovar assigns the new hearts take-off temperatures itself. (The vapor temperature and the column section temperature)
The "Pause" («Поставить на паузу») command only stops the take-off pump and the timer of the program line being executed; the fixed temperature values are not reset. After the "Continue" («Продолжить») command, the impurity detector does not interfere with the take-off for about a minute.
