Also known as a Wee Heavy, this rich, malty and usually sweet ale, can be suggestive of a dessert. Complex malt flavors prevent a one-dimensional impression.
Ferment this beer at the lower end of the temperature range. 64F is ideal.
Because of the high ABV%, this beer conditions well to round out any "hot" alcohol notes. One month is a suggested period of time.
I typically brew this beer at the beginning of fall and drink for a Thanksgiving holiday treat.
