Notes
Dark in color with a rich and velvety smooth texture. A delicious Milk Stout created in the style of Left Hand.
With 20 minutes left in the boil, prepare lactose: Hydrate one half pound (8 oz) of lactose with 1 cup of warm water. Remove keg seal and add directly to boil with 10 minutes remaining. The lactose (milk sugar) is what gives this style of stout the slightly sweet and milky flavor. Cheers!
