If the SSID and password were entered in the configurator (the "Network" («Сеть») section, the "Wi-Fi SSID" («SSID Wi-Fi») and "Wi-Fi password" («Пароль Wi-Fi») fields) and the board memory does not yet hold another network, Samovar first tries to connect to them automatically. The serial monitor then shows the line WiFi: initial credentials loaded from local configuration. If a network was saved earlier, the saved data is used.
If the connection fails, the ESP32 creates the Samovar access point. Connect to it from a phone or computer. If the portal does not open by itself, open http://192.168.4.1 in a browser, select your home network and enter its password. The same page has a blynk token field - you can enter the device token from the Samovar mobile app here right away (32 characters); it is saved in the Samovar settings. You can leave the field empty and enter the token later on the "Settings" («Настройки») page.
You have 6 minutes to enter the data. If the setup is not completed, the device keeps running as a standalone Samovar access point with the password SamApp123; the interface will be available at http://192.168.4.1.
After a successful connection, you can see the IP address on the display, in the serial monitor (the IP address: line), with the "Get IP" («Получить IP») button in the configurator's "Serial Monitor" («Монитор порта») window, in the mobile app, or in the router's client list. Open this IP address in the browser of a device on the same local network. Instead of the address you can use the name http://samovar.local (mDNS; it does not work in all networks and on all devices).
To reset the saved network, hold the encoder button for at least two seconds during startup. A short press must not erase Wi-Fi. Other ways to reset:
hold the BOOT button (GPIO0) on the ESP32 board for at least two seconds right after power-up - the serial monitor shows GPIO0 held low: erasing WiFi settings;
on the LCD, select the Reset WiFi menu item;
in the web interface, open "Settings → Other" («Настройки → Прочие») and press the "Reset WiFi settings" («Сбросить настройки WiFI») button.
After the reset, Samovar reboots and brings up the Samovar access point again.
