Service Section. Read This First:)
Service information for those who help to extend and correct the build guide.
This information is intended for those who take part in creating this guide.
Please send text in .doc or .txt format and images in .jpg. Send the text separately from the photos. You can combine everything into one archive file.
The guide was created on the basis of the general help. If you find a broken link, fix it or replace it with a link to the current section.
- If a section is "in the wrong place", that is not a problem - it is trivially easy to move it in the tree. So let's not focus on it for now.
What is proposed:
The structure of the guide may be refined as the project develops.
Each section should contain as much information as possible about a specific piece of hardware:
A photo, a link to where to buy it, the original name (so you can find it when the link dies), how to connect it, peculiarities, possible replacements, modifications, etc.
A link is strongly desirable to the post discussing the device on the forum - it is easy for you to find your own posts, while somebody else would have to read through the whole forum, and more than once... .
That is, one section per specific device; if a section gets bulky, it is easy to make a subsection. (For example, like the one about
regulators.)No additional information about a specific device goes in other sections. Mentions - as many as you like . Just make a link to that device's section and that's all. Otherwise it is very easy to get confused while compiling.
There may be exceptions - for example, the pressure sensor in the boiler. The description of the implementation with the MPX5010D connected specifically to Samovar starts in one place, and continues in the section on the Meter by dranek.
Authorship. If anyone wishes, a link to the author of the material will be placed at the end of the section.
